Feel the emotion
The ability to feel and evoke emotions is a creative power.
Are you ready for some creative magic?
Let’s start by opening up some time and space, so we can feel, express and transmit emotion.
Get comfortable, place a pen and paper near you, go slow. Close your eyes and think of the last time you felt a strong emotion.
Whenever you’re ready, answer these questions:
What’s the emotion? Can you name it?
Where and how do you feel it in your body?
If it were a colour, what colour would the feeling be?
If it were a sound, what sound would it be?
What would it taste like?
If the emotion had a walk, how would it walk?
Now get up and do that walk…
How did it feel? Write down some thoughts.
Next time you have to transmit this particular emotion, you can draw on these sensations to make it palpable!
