Welcome to your sacred time for creative exploration.
Today we’re going to start with a short meditation.
Set your timer for three minutes and get comfortable.
Begin to notice any sensations in your body. If thoughts come up, say hi to them, then let them go. Concentrate on your body…where it touches any surfaces, how your skin feels, your heart beat.
Now try to notice if one part of your body is speaking to you, or more present, than others. Is it your elbow, or throat, or heart? Start to focus on that part of your body.
When the timer goes off, grab a pen and paper and start writing from that part of the body. If your elbow were speaking, what would it say? What does it feel like to write from that part of the body? As always, don’t think about it too much, let whatever comes up flow out of you. There is no right, or wrong way or doing this.
